Care Instructions for Your Treated Surface

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT ALL SPILLS ARE CLEANED UP IMMEDIATELY IN THE FIRST 7 DAYS FOLLOWING TREATMENT

COUNTER TOPS & BACKSPLASH:

Wipe up all spills immediately. Daily cleaning can be accomplished with non-acidic, regular household cleaners or for best results, use EZ Clean (available from Perma-Treat). The Perma-Treat treatment is bleach tolerant, so semi- frequent sanitizing with diluted bleach is acceptable. Using consumer grade “Granite Cleaners” or “Green” cleaners is discouraged and will more than likely leave smears on your surface as the Perma-Treat treatment will reject it and potentially leave a residual.

FLOORING/GROUT:

Wipe up all spills immediately. Daily cleaning can be accomplished with non-acidic, regular household cleaners or for best results, use PT EZ Clean (available from Perma-Treat). The Perma-Treat treatment is bleach tolerant, so semi- frequent sanitizing with diluted bleach is acceptable. Scrub floor surfaces monthly with a soft natural bristle brush using a cleaner similar to diluted acid-free bleach or PT EZ Clean.

SHOWERS:

Showers can be used 6 hours after application. Daily cleaning can be accomplished with non-acidic, regular household cleaners, or for best results, use PT EZ Clean (available from Perma-Treat). The Perma-Treat treatment is bleach tolerant, so semi-frequent sanitizing with diluted bleach is acceptable. We recommend spraying down and rinsing all sealed shower surfaces with a solution of diluted bleach and water once every two weeks (shower floors may need this more often). Scrub shower surfaces monthly with a soft natural bristle brush using a cleaner similar to diluted acid-free bleach or PT EZ Clean.

OUTDOORS:

Wipe up all spills immediately. Outdoor areas should be kept free of debris by sweeping or blowing. Spot cleaning may be accomplished using commercially available outdoor cleaners or PT EZ Clean (available from Perma-Treat). Annual light washing with hose nozzle set to its highest pressure setting or a light pressure washing is recommended

***PLEASE NOTE***

The Perma Treat treatment does not prevent etching. Surfaces can still be etched, therefore DO NOT USE ACIDIC CLEANING PRODUCTS.

This includes cleaners that have lemon, vinegar and other acids.
